Roy Lanz, D.M.D.
Dr. Roy G. Lanz received his B.A. in Biology from St. Vincent College in 1968. After graduating from the University of Pittsburgh School of Dental Medicine in 1971, he served for over two years in the U.S. Army Dental Corp while stationed at Fort Bragg, North Carolina. In 1974, Dr. Lanz returned to his native Pittsburgh and started his dental practice in Mt. Lebanon. Dr. Lanz has been in clinical practice for 37 years and has been an adjunct professor at the University Of Pittsburgh School Of Dental Medicine for the past seven years. During his time at the school, Dr. Lanz has been involved in organizing and implementing mission trips to Jamaica with University Dental Students. In 2005, Dr. Lanz welcomed his son, Dr. Matthew J. Lanz into his practice to form Lanz Associates in Dentistry. Along with his teaching, Dr. Lanz takes numerous continuing education courses to stay on the leading edge in Dentistry.
