Dr Shen has done colon cancer breast cancer and sigmoid colon surgery on me he is the most fabulous surgeon in the United States I live in Florida now but if I need surgery I will go to Massachusetts to have it by this amazing surgeon

Getting an appointment was easy, but getting answers to test results was ridiculous. Countless calls from me to them with the end result being that the secretary told me that my problem was nothing to worry about and that I needed a different specialist and to call my PCP to make arrangements with one. Never heard from the doctor or got test results. Very poor communication and zero compassion.

Dr. Shen and his team made myself very comfortable and at ease with my procedure, and his staff was very helpful.

He did a surgery on my brother that he did NOT need and then there was a complication. He is GREEDY and only wanted to do surgery for the money.

If I had to have surgery again, Dr Roy Shen would be my only choice. Total dedication to patients needs and an ace at what he does. NO SCARS EITHER!!!

I saw Dr. Shen 8 days after he performed rectal prolapse surgery on me and I had already prolapsed again. He did not suggest a solution and did not ask me to make another follow-up appointment.

So my diabetic daughter had a pilonidal cyst, we had no problem getting an appointment. However the office does not take Flex spending cards you either need to pay with CC or check. The doctor was very cold, unsympathetic towards the pain my daughter was in. I asked what should she take for pain, his response was "whatever she wants". Two days later I called to get an appointment because she was still feeling terrible and the receptionist said "well they are very painful." DUH!! I asked her to check and see if the doctor would prescribe something, tylenol and motrin were not helping at all. The office called back and said he would not order anything for her. I could have her looked at but it would take time to heal.
