Dr. Roya Vahabi Seysan, MD

Without a doubt, Dr. Seysan is a very good physician - thorough and knowledgeable. However, her staff is the least friendly and wants to dismiss you for no particular reason. Examples: I asked for a copy of my son's annual check-up report to be provided to my wife. The office lady told me that I had to sign a release form so that my wife could get a copy. I had to argue with her that my wife is as much a parent to our minor son as I am, so she does not need my signature for release. When I asked for my prescription to be sent to my pharmacist, she told me to get the pharmacy to send them a request. I couldn't believe she had a problem with my request to send the prescription to my pharmacy that they have had on record for me for years.

She is an excellent family doctor. She is my wife doctor as well. We love her, she is easy to talk to, easy to make appointments, with friendly staff

I’m a retired oncology nurse & having moved to the area was hoping for the same quality care I received in Illinois. I was very impressed with the quality & care I received from Dr Seysan & staff. She is thorough & doesn’t leave a stone unturned regarding your patient care. Sandy her nurse is also professional & caring & provides a sense of calm. Candi the phlebotomist is excellent & Christine at reception was pleasant & welcoming. Doctors & staff like this are rare & I highly recommend Dr Seysan & office staff.

Never had an experience like that before!

Went to see doctor because I was having chest pain, she did my routine blood work, EKG, Blood pressure,She said that my blood pressure was high. wanted to know if I was on blood pressure medication, which I brought with me for her to see, totally ignored what I had to say continued to talk to me like she was talking to a little kid who doesn't know anything. Went and prescribed other BP medication which compounded my chest pain. When I went back to her after 3 weeks complaning of the same chest and wanted to know if I should setup an appointment with a cardiologist, she said that thier was nothing wrong with my heart, it was a gallbladder issue. She send me to the Hospital to get gallbladder test and an ultrasound of my abdomen, when test came back to her office, she stated everything looked good but my gallbladder was not working properly. I again made the comments about chest pain and if I should go see a cardiologist, she replied we did an EKG on you your heart is fine don't waste… your money going to see a cordiologist he would just make my blood pressure worse with more meds. At this time I took it upon myself to go see the cardiologist and when he ran stress test on me it showed artery blockage, set up a catheter proceedure to get stents put in, but blockage was too severe for the proceedure to work. To make a long story short 3 days later I had open heart surgery with a triple bypass, Had I listen to her my outcome would have had a different ending. To conclude she is the type of doctor that is very self absorbed with no people or medical skills other than a pill pusher. I would not recommend her even as a last resort

After seeing my wife twice, Dr. Seysan called to inform us that she would no longer see her because there was too much paperwork with her care.

Always speaks very loud, brass personality, talks over you, asks a question and when you begin to answer, talks over you, ask a question before you can finish. Very poor bedside manor. Will not ever go back, and do not recommend her. Staff was great.

I will never go back. I scheduled my appointment early so I did not have to wait. I still waited to be seen about 40 minutes. Then the doctor was rude and lacked basic manners. I have never been treated in such an unprofessional manner. I will not go back and I am calling tri-care so that they will stop recommending her as a primary care physician. So disappointed in the treatment I received.

Horrible mean doctor. Got angry and abusive with me because I said I'd prefer to wait for test results before taking medication I didn't need. Sent me for a CAT scan for no reason. Griping me out as I'm trying to leave and check out. Don't trust this lady.

Dr. Seysan is opinionated...and I say that in a negative way for a physician. She did not want my medical records (which is fine..lots of doctors want their own intake). She did no intake. She heard my concern and started shouting (not hyperbole) what to take. She does not believe in medicine. My blood pressure had to be stroke level by the time I left her office due to her abrasive behavior.
