Dr. Rubeena H Mian, MD

Dr. Mian is in a league all her own. She listens to her patients and she takes medical knowledge and good old fashion wisdom to help you heal and become whole again. But you have to do the work that is required of you. You should come see her.

I found Dr. Mian thru my healthcare provider. I Saw her bc I was struggling with depression and anxiety. Our first few appts felt pretty good. However, as I progressed I felt like she wanted to get me in and get me out and throw a prescription at me that I wasn't sure about. When I raised concerns about it she was like "okay then we'll just take you off of it." I felt that was really irresponsible. No other options were offered. I am also overweight, (not so much so that I'm like, obese) and she made a few remarks about my weight that felt like fat shaming. I walked out of my last appointment in tears. Thankfully I found someone who is caring and compassionate and listens to my concerns.

I am a middle age woman who works full time in health care and suffers from chronic anxiety. The first time I met Dr. Mian I was finally able to breathe because I instantly knew she was very empathetic and sincerely cared about my well being. If you are searching for a doctor whom is very compassionate and has the expertise to evaluate you from a single session I highly recommend her. My experience with her has been very positive and I intend on staying with her as long as I can. There is not a better psychiatrist out there. I feel blessed that I found her.

Dr. Mian is a fantastic and caring professional doctor. She is very respectful and a great patient advocate!!!!

She's terrible. She only spent ten minutes with me and could have cared less. I had many concerns and she did not help at all. I do not trust her with my health at all.

I didn't feel that she really cared. especially if I was concerned about meds.

Listens, asks great questions, not afraid to change strategy with new information. Direct and concise.
