Dr. Ruben Aymerich, MD

"I STRONGLY ADVISE READING. This doctor advised to have him perform a colonoscopy on me. He then, perforated my lower bowel while removing a small polyp. I woke up in severe pain, how're he told it was just loose air. I kept in contact with his office for the next day and half, before they told me to seek medical attention, immediately. I had gone septic, had two emergency surgeries, one resulting in having to receive a colostomy bag and losing over a foot of colon, both that will affect me forever. I spent 20 days in the hospital, septic, PICC line, colostomy, jp drains, body disfigured, bladder is still not fully functional and the list goes on. I couldn't work due to infection after infection, mountain of medical bills, debt, uncovered expensive prescriptions to stay alive, car repossessed, loans to keep my fridge full and bills paid, lifelong health issues/prescriptions/maintenance needed. All of which, could have been avoided if he reported what he did, to me or the hospital. He… lied on the report stating "no bleeding/bowel left impeccable" which was obviously a lie, while using what most doctors call an antiquated technique. "

Had to have my procedure in a very expensive SSM hospital. Wouldn't do it at a much cheaper outpatient center ??. Seems he's owned by hospital ??.

Dr. Aymerich is a very caring human being. He listens to you and answers thoroughly, in a way you can understand. I feel very fortunate to have found a doctor like him. He treats you with respect and really wants to help you. He's a very good doctor. I hope he never retires! (Just kidding).

Dr. Aymerich is very EZ to talk to, and is genuinely concerned about his patients well being. Ant time I have contacted his office about a concern, they ALWAYS get back to me quickly after conferring with him. I would HIGHLY recommend Dr. Aymerich if you are looking for an excellent Gastro Dr.

He is an excellent dr. who cares about his patients.
