Dr. Ruben Antenor Moreno

I have been to Dr. Moreno many times throughout the years, and finally getting around to writing a review! :) Dr. Moreno just treated two skin cancer areas that had appeared suddenly to the point that I was very concerned. The office staff worked hard to get me in as soon as possible, to the point that they had to schedule me at two different offices...in Port St. John and Cocoa Beach, to which I was very grateful for. They contacted me immediately with the biopsy results and scheduled the surgeries. Speaking for both offices, the staff was very friendly and accommodating. And I can't say enough about Dr. Moreno. I am the kind of patient who loves to ask a thousand questions to be sure that I'm fully understanding every aspect of my care. He couldn't have been more patient and understanding, taking plenty of time answering my questions, it was a refreshing change not to feel rushed by a doctor. I chose Dr. Moreno for my Mohrs surgeries because he is renowned for his expertise in… it and I learned that he has taught many local doctors this surgery method. I had expressed my concern for scarring and was impressed by the meticulous way he stitched the skin. Yes I'm weird...that kind of stuff fascinates me, lol! A past surgery I had left zero scarring which I was grateful for. While I was having my my stitches taken out, the assistant had a concern with one of my wounds, so she called in the PA Anthony to take a look to make sure it was okay. He took his time checking it over and was very friendly and attentive as well. Another thing I liked was that they provide you with the exact total cost, after factoring in insurance coverage, of what your procedures will be prior to your appointment. No hidden surprises like I've experienced at other doctors' offices. Again, I highly recommend Florida Dermatology-- excellent, personable, professional care that is top notch.
