Dr. Rubina Azam, MD

Dr Azam is slanderous of her fellow doctors- she throws everyone else under the bus and doesn't take responsibility. She treated my son and spent the whole time whining about everything under the sun. I always had this feeling that she was less than truthful. She must be doing her own reviews on here, I know no one who continues to use her. Just say no!

I had a very good experience with Dr Azam, i have visited her few times in past one year. Very experienced and caring doctor

My baby would scream for any other doctors she is the first one that took the time to actually look at my little girl . made me feel better about how she is breathing and let me know that is completely normal when other doctors just give her unnecessary medicine. I thank you!!!

We have been going there for over a year, I have 4 kids. Was transferred to the NP Stephanie. Oldest son woke up with blood shot eye, light sensetive, no discharge. First we thought pink eye, had meds at home, nothing worked it just got worse. Called day before Thanskiving, already closed and that was it . Came in on Friday, requested NP to check for scratches, refused to do the simple procedure. Instead sent us to Pensacola and swore they spoke with the opthomologist on call and they would come in. Drove all that way for an I turn to say it was allergic pink eye. Told them it was not that this was way worse. Sent home. Monday go to eye dr, iritis!!!!!! Week later eye dr wants lots of labs done, they couldn't figure out how to get a fax!!!! They finally called eye dr to find out what tests, I had to stand there and demand it be done right then or it never would have gotten done. Friday call for lab results, just came in dr will review and call after lunch. 2:00 pm, call them… back , NP in with patient will call me back. They call back few min later to tell me that she doesn't know what any of the labs mean and that the eye dr would have to explain!!!!!!! What!!!!???? They where suppose to set up an appointment for my son with a pediatric rheumatologist ...still waiting almost 2 weeks later, nothing!!!! Btw we Dr. Azam only a few times at first to get us sucked in as patients then she is NEVER there, only a NP. That is not a dr and there is a HUGE difference, it is called medical school. Not that I liked her she just rushed through and moved on!

I was brand new in town, less than a week, with two sick kids (ages 4 months and six years) and this office was around the corner from where I lived. I called them for an appointment, they scheduled me for same day, but when I got there refused to see me. At the time, I was on Tricare prime, which should have meant that they would still see me but charge a 50% cost share, aka Point of Service option. When I arrived I was told that my sick kids could not be seen without a referral. The receptionist, Jenna, feigned ignorance of Tricare Point of Service and refused to let my kids be seen. I offered to pay cash up front in full covering any charges and she still refused, claiming that it was "illegal to not bill insurance if you have it." Most insane thing I have ever heard. It was late in the day and the day before the Thanksgiving holiday. Basically, the doctor either wasn't there or didn't want to see anymore patients and the receptionist was covering. Still, I was left with two… sick kids the day before a holiday with nowhere to go as everything else was closed already, and they knew it. I have gone here since then and never had an experience that left me feeling the medical staff was competent. I had a bacterial rash diagnosed as a yeast rash, which became much worse when treated with nystatin instead of antibiotics. i also had a very serious concern regarding my child's possible exposure to an illness outbreak which was reported by the CDC. I called the office to see if I should bring my child in to be seen. The front office took a message to relay to the doctor, and the doctor never even bothered to return my call. They have also had frequent medical staff turnover, which is never a good sign. Do not recommend.

I do not recommend going to Baldwin Pediatrics. The main reason is the staff. They are not very courteous or helpful. They have problems with charging the insurance paperwork correctly and I actually caught them in a lie about a request for medical records that I had. Do yourself a favor and go somewhere else

I don't recommend this Dr. Azam. She is very rude and very condescending. She is prejudice and discriminates against military but will definitely take military money.

we see Dr Rubina Azam for our two kids and she is just wonderful with them. She takes her time with them and is always listening to our concerns. We love the idea that she doesn't believe in unnecessary antibiotics and spends so much time talking about nutrition . Her staff is great , they are very polite and nice. We never have to wait and have not had any complaints. We are very happy with her and we recommend her to all our friends and family.
