Calling a child with special needs and non-verbal stubborn during a checkup is completely disrespectful. No need for the additional attitude

Unbelievably unhelpful, horrible, and unyielding- I have to believe she does not have children- BTW-this 5star rating is very misleading; another site gives her a 1.9- with actual info! Luckily my kids are teens and we had fabulous pediatricians. I couldn’t imagine having to face her with my newborns! We got stuck with Dr Dolvane as a last resort- my college-bound son needed a med check/refill for his ADD. Our typical location (Sleepy Hollow- 5stars+) had no appts- we were in a time crunch. This shrew refused to refill our script ONE DAY early - as a result would mean our ADD son would have to start college -TWO HOURS AWAY AS A FRESHMAN without his medication!!! Is she insane??? As if our entire family’s emotions & stress level weren’t already at peak levels-sending the first kid off to school?? Amazing yet brutal.. Her lack of compassion & rigidity completely pushed me even more into panic mode. Luckily i was able to connect with a more competent & reasonable doctor who helped us &… crisis was averted - 1 day to spare. Moral of the story : no one should go to this woman .. she’s the absolute worst.
