Dr. Ruby Farooqi, MD

This is the second time I have had an appointment with Dr. Farooqi. She is the Best. She is kind, knowledgeable, concerned, all of the above. Dr. Farooqi is what the definition of a doctor should be. With her, I don't mind going to the doctor. This last time, I asked if she could accept me as her patient. I was so Happy that she said she could. Another co-worker goes to Dr. Farooqi and he, of course, feels the same way. No more unpleasant experiences going to the doctor. Her staff is great, all very personable, all great to talk to. No more doctors losing their bedside matter here. I've got the Best. Until my next visit. I will see all of you again. At least I won't be dragging my feet to go in. Sincerely, JoLynn M

I went to see Dr. Farooqui four years ago because I had been experiencing chronic headaches and, then had an extreme episode of lighting strike pain followed by visual impairment. I told her I was concerned it was a brain tumor and wanted a CT scan or MRI. She all but laughed out loud. She was completely dismissive, rude and condescending in her response. She brushed off the situation and my concern, without explanation for cause of the headache and why she didn't think it medically necessary. She made me feel immature and not in-tune with my body. Four years later, I was just diagnosed with a BRAIN TUMOR. My husband has also experienced her lack of empathy for her patients feelings and concerns. Glad there are better doctors to see at Polyclinic.

Dr. Farooki is very courteous, incisive in her questions for diagnosis of my malady, & thorough in her examination. She promptly prescribed very effective medications to relieve my respiratory problem. She ordered the prescriptions from the pharmacy which were available went I went there. She demonstrated a very high level of skill, effectiveness, & caring. She's an excellent physician.

You can't go wrong with Dr. Farooqi. She and her staff are very thorough and caring. I had some pre-cancerous skin patches and she took care of them right then and there, and also gave me some wrist braces that took care of numbness at night. Boom, problem fixed. She called me at home when I had to have a biopsy and was very reassuring and caring. I would highly recommend her and her staff, who go out of their way to help in whatever way they can.
