Ruchira Garg, MD

Dr. Ruchira Garg specializes in cardiovascular disease with nearly three decades of experience treating heart conditions. She earned her medical degree from The Medical College of Pennsylvania and completed her residency at Johns Hopkins Hospital in 2000. Dr. Garg pursued advanced fellowship training at two prestigious institutions, completing programs at Nationwide Children's Hospital in 2003 and Children's Hospital in Boston in 2004. She provides care in English for patients throughout the Los Angeles area.

Dr. Garg practices at two Los Angeles locations, including the Smidt Heart Institute and Cedars-Sinai Prenatal Testing & Diagnosis. She focuses on treating complex heart conditions such as congenital heart disease and heart valve problems. Her expertise includes performing specialized heart imaging tests like echocardiograms and stress tests to evaluate heart function.
