Dr. Ruchira Garg, MD

Dr. Ruchira Garg is a cardiovascular disease specialist who completed her medical degree at The Medical College of Pennsylvania. She brings 29 years of experience to her practice and completed her residency at Johns Hopkins Hospital in 2000. Dr. Garg pursued advanced fellowship training at Children's Hospital in Boston in 2004, following an earlier fellowship at Nationwide Children's Hospital in 2003. She provides care in English for her patients.

Dr. Garg practices at two locations in Los Angeles, California, including the Smidt Heart Institute and Cedars-Sinai Prenatal Testing & Diagnosis. She specializes in treating complex heart conditions such as congenital heart disease and atrial septal defects. Her expertise extends to managing Eisenmenger syndrome, a serious heart condition. Dr. Garg performs specialized cardiac procedures including fetal echocardiograms, which allow her to evaluate heart development before birth, as well as dobutamine stress echocardiograms and Doppler …echocardiograms to assess heart function.
