Visited him for a follow up for rashes and fevers my sons have and am eczema outbreak I was having. He made us wait an hour and when he came in he didn't even read or charts. He flat out said he would not prescribe me an eczema medication I asked for because he'd never heard of it. He also would not do anything for my sons fevers or congestion. He shouldn't be allowed to be a doctor.

He is abrupt, unsympathetic, caustic comments. Though a good diagnostician, you will be in for a shock over his bedside manner. good luck.

My 21-year-old daughter just returned from a visit with this doctor hysterical and in tears. Two weeks prior, she had returned from college with a cold she came down with during finals week, which turned worse during a post-grad week at the beaches in Maryland. Since she was going to be flying to Europe in a week and the cold was now 14-days old and producing green, bloody mucus, I advised her to visit the walk-in medi-center on Route 88 in Brick and tell the doctor her history so she could be evaluated for a bacterial infection and prescribed an antibiotic before heading oversees. When she came back, however, she was crying and extremely upset. She said the doctor had berated and belittled her because she told him she did not suffer from seasonal allergies. He kept insisting to her that she, in fact, did suffer from allergies and that she had better start taking Claritan in the fall. When my daughter again tried to explain that she had never suffered from seasonal allergies,… he kept on belittling her to the point of tears. She told me she was so upset that she could not even take a breathe when he tried to examine her with a stethoscope. Rather than try to calm her, he instead kept berating her. Humiliated, she left the office in tears. I'm not sure what the other patients must have thought. Upon hearing her story, I visited this website and saw that others were telling the exact same story. I then called the office and asked to speak with this doctor, only to have him do the same thing to me. I could not explain what had happened because he kept talking loudly over me. I could not believe that a medical professional would behave in such a manner. I have since called the office manager and may take this further, as this man should not be seeing patients. I am not sure what the problem is, but it is a serious one, and I am hoping that he will be removed from this practice. I certainly will never advise anyone to go there, which is unfortunate, as my family has always had wonderful experiences there in the past.

Completely ignored the medical issue at hand and decided to lecture me on what kind of mother I am before even attending to the child.

Dr. Gronsky was extremely rude with absolutely no bedside manner. He never introduced himself when he entered the exam room and behaved as if he couldn't be bothered with a sick patient. I called the office after I left (in tears) to find out his name. In the future, I will call ahead to make sure I do not see him. He was obnoxious and unprofessional. I would make a trip to the local ER before going to see him at the emergency care center on LBI.

Though usually i wait around 20 minutes, it must be explained that it is a walk in facility. you can make appointments, but i haven't so 20 minutes to wait at a walk in really isn't bad, i've waited much longer than that in emergency rooms.
