Dr. Rudrani Banik, MD

Dr. Banik is knowledgeable and spent spent a good amount of time with me. I paid $600.00 for a consultation which was fine but she never responded to my multiple phone calls to inquire about her opinion on test results she ordered. Therefore, what good is it to have an intelligent MD if they do not care and do not ever call you back.

Dr. Banik is a brilliant and compassionate MD. She makes the extra effort to determine the correct diagnosis. I recommend her highly.

Dr. Banik was very attentive during the examination. My complaint related to a return phone call, which was not urgent, but took 5 days and calls to multiple offices.

I have an eye condition that I have dealt with for a very long time. It causes alot of pain, frustration, and embarrassment. I was referred to Dr Banik after seeing multiple doctors I couldn't speak more highly then I do about Dr Banik. The treatment she used has been so far very effective for my medical condition. She was extremely professional and very compassionate and understood my frustrations. The office in Tribeca was very clean and the staff were very friendly.

I had a visit with Dr. Banik last week, she and her office staff was extremely professional. Dr. Banik was very detailed with her examination and went over all my test result with me personally so that I could have a better understanding of my diagnosis. I would highly recommend this office and Dr. Banik.

The first time I saw Dr Banik she made me wait over 2 hours before taking me and then even longer in the room. The appointment took a total of 4.5 hours. When I got follow up tests she refused to tell me the results over the phone so that I would be forced to come in the office and she could collect another office visit pay from the insurance companies. Her front office staff was rude and totally disorganized. Avoid this doctor and practice at all costs. Note this was the 77 Worth street office.
