A should that was recommended to have surgery from two orthopedic surgeons was cured with pain free movement by Dr. Yao and Staff. I had 11 sessions of acupuncture, laser and message therapy. Although it was a long rehab, it worked and I avoided surgery! I continue to see Dr. Yao ever since.

They take extremely large Co-pays, Bill your insurance 100%, and then fail to provide service. You’ll spend the whole day waiting and then they’ll say they’re too busy. They provide great service to Asian people but do not come here if you’re non-Asian.

Dr Yao is a very skilled pain doctor. I committed to the acupuncture, ultrasound, and massage treatment, which took about 1.5 hours plus travel time twice a week to begin with. I did not get total relief instantly, but the relief was apparent after my first appointment, and it continued as long as I kept my appointment schedule. I felt it was worth the investment of my time to avoid other treatments, like opioid pain relievers, which are not healthy. I highly recommend Dr. Yao and her staff and will return if I need treatment again.

I was recommended by someone who indicated that this clinic helped to cure her neck pain. I was hoping the same, but I got worst after the treatment. Like the other reviewer said it is the same treatment no matter what. The treatments are three steps. I was given a massage by a man who hurt me during the massage. I complained but the massage kept going. Then I got my dose of acupuncture. It hurt and I had to ask to lower the electric impulse. The last part is laser warming and the lady was nice which was the only good part. After the treatment, I was OK. The same night, I was in pain. The next morning, my body was aching. Now, after 4 days of rest, I feel much better. I am not sure how I can complain. Please help.

Very busy office - and the doctor seems to busy to give a darn. I was not examined before being treated - the doctor just looked at the report from the ER at Shady Grove, and I was sent through cookie cutter treatment - it seemed to me everyone in the office was getting the same "therapy"
