Dr. Rula Nadim Al-Aouar, MD

I have worked with and been a patient of Dr Al-Aouar's for many years. She is a great physician. She listens, she's compassionate and she is very skilled at her profession. I know that she loves what she does and it shows. I trust that I am receiving the best care with Dr Al-Aouar.

I had been to three different gynecologists. I was a new patient at Dr. Al-Aouars office. She came in with so much compassion for the menstrual problems I had been having for an entire year. I was worn out, depressed and felt like there would be no end to my problem. When she examined me she told me it would be taken care of quickly. She reassured me so much. I was so emotional. Within a week she had me at Beaumont Wayne getting me uterine artery embolization. IT WAS LIKE A MIRACLE! I walked out with a bandaid at the top of my thigh and my period had stopped, for good! Amazing. I literally cried. She changed my life. I recommend her to everyone. This may seem like this is a "fake" review but it isn't. Thank God, lol. :) She is a Dr. takes women's health seriously. Thank you Dr. Al-Aouar.

Dr. Rula is amazing! She helped me through my entire pregnancy. She’s full of energy and always positive, doesn’t do anything that’s unnecessary. Knowledgeable, experienced, gentle & caring during exams. She answers all of your questions & always available to help when you need her.

Dr. Al-aouar has been my o.b. for 4 years now. She is defiantly the most attentive and caring doc. I have ever had. She will be delivering my 3rd child and has delivered my second in 2010. I would recommend her to anyone. I thank god that I found her and know I can count on her for my medical o.b. needs. Give her a try u will not be disappointed.

Although I love my regular doctor that is in this office, I do not recommend the gynecology department. One visit that I had after they had me remove my clothes, put on the paper "shirt" and the towel over me, 3 different staff came into the room for supplies. This did not include the doctor. When I went to schedule an appointment they scheduled it for a month ahead of time. The week of the appointment I was told the doctor wouldn't be there. I rescheduled and said I needed a one month refill on my prescription for birth control since I would run out. The new appointment was more than a month after the original one. To make matters worse, I received a phone call from the nurse saying they had no record of me being a patient, something I have been for a few years now. She could not have a prescription written because they have no data that I have ever been there or received any medications. This only effected the gyn department. I cancelled my appointment and made it somewhere else. I… have never received call backs from questions I have called up to make either.

She had spotted a life threating problem and saved my life.. She insisted that I go to the er and once I was there she came to check in on me and make sure I was ok.. I was treated like a family member not just another patient...
