I earned my medical degree in 1986 from Aleppo University in Aleppo, Syria. I completed my internal medicine residency through Henry Ford Hospital in Detroit, Mich., and completed a pulmonary/critical care fellowship at the Medical College of Wisconsin
in 2002.
I am board certified in internal medicine, pulmonary/critical care medicine and also in sleep medicine. Professionally, I take a special interest in emphysema, lung nodules and sleep apnea.
