Dr. Rumana Jameel Siddiqui, MD

I would not recommend this doctor.. I was in the waiting room for an hour post my appointment time before they took me into a room. It was my first time seeing this doctor and was there for pre-op clearance. I had lab work and my endocrinologist’ s records with me so they had most of the information needed. The biggest problem was the office. It was dirty and the room was filthy and had 3 big boxes with a hazard logo next to where you are examined. The blinds in the room were open and broken so they could not close. They had me strip from the waist up with no privacy at all. The assistant kept telling me I was too anxious when doing the echo gram. How dis she expect me to feel after all that? Following this, my surgeon’s office confirmed getting clearance from the doctor a few days later but a week after that I got a call from the doctor’s assistant asking questions I had already answered. When I asked why she needed the information, she said it was because she was about to send the… pre pp clearance to the surgeon which had already been sent. Definitely not going back.

Dr Siddiqui has been my doctor for almost 2 years now. Scheduled appointments are on time, which is nice. I don't have to wait an hour like with other doctors. I find Dr Siddiqui sympathetic but not wishy-washy. If I need something, or I need to do something she tells me. She also doesn't run tests unnecessarily. I feel comfortable with her. Her staff is friendly and I've not had any billing issues.

The visit itself was fine.. but post-visit, I got charged THREE TIMES to my insurance for a simple physical exam... which was to be covered in full by my insurance. Yet I incurred multiple copays, as apparently "lab work" isn't included.... since when?! Never visiting this doctor's office again. She's a looter.

This doctor will double bill you, and make billings to the patient even if insurance covered everything. Beware. I got charged twice on two different occasions for no reason, and when you call the clinic will act like they don't know anything about it and will just direct you to a bunch of other numbers. Her service and clinic is not even as such that you should have to pay anything out of pocket. Very mediocre service, to say the least, and doctor does not honor time punctuality with the appointments made.

It's been over 4 years since my visit with Dr. Siddiqui and I'm still upset at her unprofessionalism and her treatment of me. I went to this "doctor" for a pap smear, I had never had one previously and was unsure of what to expect. I stated my nervousness to her prior to the exam. Dr. Siddiqui proceeded to use the largest sized tool (not sure what it's called) to perform the procedure. She used next to no medical lube. I don't need to go into detail about how uncomfortable and painful the next 25ish minutes were for me as she relentlessly tried to insert the tool. What made it worse were her comments during the process, "wow how will you ever give birth if you can't even handle this." This is NOT professional behavior and honestly I should have reported her. Following my appointment I was sore for the next 24 hours. Because I never had a pap smear before, I did not know this was uncommon. It was not until my next pap smear with a different doctor that I realized how simple and painless… a normal pap smear is. Do not visit this "doctor," she is unprofessional and in all honesty, she is not worthy of that title.

Very professional clinic and great treatment.

I was assigned by my hospital to Dr Siddiqui after a night in the ER with chest pains. She neither came, nor spoke to me till I was about to be discharged, a day later. When she came, she only repeated what was already told to me by my nurses and seemed to not have read my case - she did not know details, and asked for all of it again, having overlooked some important ones. A day before, I was not able to get on a diet plan because she was unavailable, and my pregnant wife had to walk around getting food for me. And then later, when I was ready to be discharged, I again had to wait a long while, for her availability to ok. The one thing a patient wants is for a doctor to explain the options, and the depth of the situation. Dr Siddiqui seemed apathetic. I felt I wasn't cared for.
