Dr. Runhua Hou, MD

My medical procedure was not explained and my request for something for my anxiety was ignored, There was no bedside manner to speak of and she did not introduce herself to my mother who was in the room with me, nor did she really interact with me at all. I would not recommend her to anyone else. Very cold and removed.

I read the previous posts and I don't understand how they had a problem with Dr. Huo. I found her very professional, intelligent, easy to understand. Furthermore, my primary doctor mentioned how impressed he was with her thorough notes and told me he was glad I found her. I would not hesitate to recommend her to a family member or return to her is I needed additional care.

I did not feel that this doctor listened to my concerns as a patient, I walked away feeling humilated and frustrated and did not gain much from my appointment with her. I had asked questions about my blood labs, and was quickly brushed off and sent out of the office without answers. I felt I was rushed and that this doctor did not care about my health or take it seriously. There was also a thick accent, and it interfered with my ability to effectively communicate with her. I would not recommend this doctor to anyone.

First of all, she does NOT have ten years of experience, she did her residency at a third-rate program in Northeast, and is working on her fellowship in WashU after being a lab technician for several years.Most importantly, she does not possess the ethical level of a health care professional, and has mental problem.She not only has an old and ugly face, she also has an ugly heart ......
