Excellent Doctor! Very friendly manner and takes the time to diagnose your illness!

I had seen Dr. Bontu for many years. I followed her to four different locations, from 35th street to the old Davenport Memorial Hospital location and Utica Ridge location who had Terry as the receptionist but when she opened Great River Medical she changed and she hired poor staff. The last 6 months that she was my doctor I came to see her I told her that it was not getting better she told me that maybe it was "all in my head". I was upset but went back to her thinking maybe she had a bad day, the two times after that I waited in the waiting room for over 1 hour to be seen. No apologies or explanations by staff or her. I took off work and had to return to work and explain to my boss why a routine medicine check up took so long. This was the last draw, I found a new doctor.

Dr. Bontu is a wonderful doctor, especially for females. She listens to you and is a very good diagnostician. I was going to another doctor for years who could not figure out what was going on with me. Made me feel like I was loosing my mind. Dr. Bontu diagnosed the problem on my first visit. She is a genuinely caring person.

She is freindly,knowledgeble and remembers you each time. She is not a pill pusher or a doctor of cattle. ( This means she spends time with you and in and out to treat the masses.) I have been her patient for many years now. As well as my sister. She is one of the best doctors in our area. Not one person I have ever heard speak of her had even the smallest of things bad to say of her skills and knowledge.
