it's hard to consider a colonoscopy "the social event of the season" but after attempting the procedure once and not having fasted long enough, i really wanted to get it done the second time. dr. fritz was wonderful and area's greatest nurse was there too so polyps were removed and despite blood sugar being high enough to bring about cancellation, as another nurse told me "it was my lucky day". thoroughly outstanding doctor, i'd recommend to anyone and everyone!

I only recently met Dr. Fritz but it's clear she is an experienced professional. She has a curiosity to help her patients and the background to understand. I've had 2 procedures, perfectly done, and for first time believe I have a physician who will find a solution for me.

Excellent physician

Dr. Fritz did a great job of explaining what hemorrhoids are, where they occur exactly using an illustration, and how she uses the CRH O'Regen rubber band ligation instrument to get rid of the internal ones. She asked questions about my issues, my diet, etc. and then took her time explaining and answering my questions before examining me. With me lying on one side, she first used a gloved finger, then inserted an anoscope to examine the rectum. It was not uncomfortable at all and barely took a minute or so. She then re-inserted an anoscope with the rubber band instrument and placed a band in literally a few seconds. All done. I came back twice more after 30 days each time for a total of three treatments, as hemorrhoids tend to grow in three "quadrants." She gave great advice which I've followed and made a difference. She was always friendly. The first visit I waited about 15 to 20 minutes once I was in the exam room. The other two visits were much quicker since I had already been… diagnosed.

She was very knowledgeable... but most of all, she gave me hope that I would get through it. I finally did get through it with her help.
