Dr. Rupal Thakor, MD, is a board-certified family medicine specialist dedicated to providing high-quality adult primary care. As the founder and owner of Plain Street Primary Care, an adult primary care practice affiliated with RI Primary Care Physician Corporation, she brings over 14 years of diverse clinical experience, including 9 years of trusted service in Rhode Island. Dr. Thakor completed her medical education at B. J. Medical College in 2007, completed her residency at the Carilion School of Medicine - VTC in 2012, and previously served an underserved rural population for 5 years. Board-certified by the American Board of Family Medicine since 2012 and affiliated with the American Academy of Family Physicians since 2010, she delivers compassionate, patient-centered care tailored to the local community.
