Dr. Rusdy Murni

If I could give Dr. Murni a million stars, I would because, unfortunately, I have much expertise comparing dentists -- having had extensive work done by several dentists in four countries on three continents. I know of which I speak. In short, Dr. Murni and his staff are EXCELLENT! Being new to Round Rock, I was concerned about having to find a good dentist in the area. I was first drawn to Dr. Murni's practice by reading reviews, calling and speaking to personnel at the office, and comparing prices. From my very first visit, Dr. Murni and his staff have made me feel at home. Their service is wonderful. All are extremely personable ?and accommodating, patiently explaining everything and answering all of my many questions. After my first few appointments, I literally felt at ease with all of them as if we were old friends. This is unique in my experience, with most dental practices' personnel being approachable but impersonal. Professionally, Dr. Murni has been… beyond reproach in my dealings with him (several appointments worth)! He is an excellent dentist. He thoroughly explains dental problems he finds (clarified by real-time video of oral images.) He then explains different options for correcting those problems including pros and cons of each procedure with approximations of prices. This, again, is unique in my dental experiences. As well, as he performs those procedures he will explain what he is doing and why, if you so desire. (My curiosity is insatiable so I am grateful for this.) Dr. Murni's dental technique was a most welcome surprise. Having experienced as much dental work as I have, although I have not developed a phobia of oral injections, I have developed a pronounced, anxiety-inducing dread of them. I can honestly say that Dr. Murni's injections are by FAR the least painful I have ever had -- and I am so thankful for and relieved by that. Furthermore, I have had some dentists work on my teeth with a distant, purely-professional detachment as if they were mechanics working on my car -- and treating my personal discomfort as "collateral damage" of the procedures. Dr. Murni, however, is the most empathetic dentist I have encountered. In short, I cannot recommend Dr. Murni and the personnel of his practice highly enough. I am so thankful that I found them!
