Dr. Harsono is board certified in pediatrics and pediatric critical care medicine. He has dedicated his practice to the needs of children who are critically ill, treating them and their families with compassion and respect. He received his medical degree in Indonesia from the University of North Sumatra and came to the United States to complete his internship and residency at Brookdale University Hospital and Medical Center in Brooklyn, N.Y., where he received the Best Intern and Chief Resident awards. Dr. Harsono stayed in New York to complete a clinical fellowship in general surgery at North Shore University Hospital and Medical Center in Manhasset where he was recognized with the Best General Surgery Clinical Fellow Award. Dr. Harsono also complete his fellowship in pediatric critical care medicine at Women’s and Children Hospital of Buffalo, N.Y.
A fellow of the American Academy of Pediatrics, Dr. Harsono has served on the faculty for the Eastern Society of Pediatric Resaerch …Society and the American Academy of Family Physicians. He has received the Champion Award from Upstate New York Transplant Services and is a member of the Society of Critical Care Medicine.
