Dr. Russ Braun, Interim Medical Director for MarinHealth Urgent Care | A UCSF Health Clinic, and full-time employee of MarinHealth is very excited to be involved in the opening of the MarinHealth Urgent Care. He shares an extensive background in both academic and community based organizations, and has dedicated his career in promoting accessible healthcare to the whole San Francisco Bay Area communities. Dr Braun is a Board-Certified Emergency Physician and Partner with Vituity Healthcare, offering a superb track record of providing Emergency Room and Urgent Care services. In addition, he has a significant tenure as a long-standing UCSF Voluntary Faculty and Associate Professor with an on-going passion for medical education. For the last 11 years Russ and his family have called Marin ""home, ""raising two elementary age children, just miles from the Urgent Care. Outside of the practice, he enjoys wind-surfing, paddle-boarding, tennis and hiking and looks forward to continuing to serve …the local community with accessible, compassionate healthcare.
