I am a repeat patient to Dr. Bear. I first met him back in 2015 after 2 failed rotator cuff surgeries. Dr. Bear took the time to talk to me and addressed any questions I might have about t he 3rd procedure on my left shoulder. I made it away with very few stitches unlike the previous surgeries from another doctor, not from this practice. I can say that my left shoulder is holding up. I recently met with him for my right shoulder. Again, Dr. Bear was very professional and polite. I without a doubt would recommend him to anyone with shoulder issues!

I had to have a torn meniscus in my right knee fixed, and from beginning to end, Dr. Bear has been right there to RETURN CALLS HIMSELF about ANY questions or concerns I have had. I even had a 2nd opinion from a surgeon of a good friend, and that surgeon wouldn't return my first call about a question... that doctor wanted me to come back in and spend more money... NOT!!! Meantime, Dr. Bear returned my calls FIVE times... not his assistant, not his secretary... (in which that would have been fine)... but, HE HIMSELF took a personal stake in my leg. He was personal with me, his surgical staff made me feel calm about the surgery from start to finish, and my rehab has been tremendous. I went to work the VERY NEXT DAY!! (...to everyone's astonishment...) That is directly due to the care that was given to my knee from Dr. Russell Bear and his staff! My 84-year-old Dad, who still plays Senior Softball, will be seeing him in the off-season. I would recommend Dr. Bear to anyone and everyone! He… is the real deal!! I would rate him a 10 on this scale of 1 to 5!!

The check-in process worked great. With each of the courteous, efficient office personnel all I had to do was drop a smile and it was immediately returned to me. Five minute wait for the Doctor (60 min at my "first opinion"). Doctor patiently explained things well. Answered all my questions. Sent me home feeling better than when I arrived (shot to the shoulder, the first opinion doc didn't even suggest). I actually look forward to my future visits (well, maybe not so much to surgery, if needed).
