Dr. Russell E. Ditzler, MD

Dr. Russell Ditzler has been my PCP for over 20 years. Great doctor. Very skilled and concerned for the wellbeing of his patients.

My husband and I have been patients of Dr Ditzler for 15 years. He and his staff have been wonderful. When you see him he takes time to explain all test results and drugs he prescribes for you. We highly him to our relatives and friends!

I was a patient in 2017 and felt good about Dr Ditzler but during Medicare open enrollment I called the office to verify insurance they accepted and was told they accepted the one I chose. In all fairness this was not Dr Ditzler but his staff. The Office Manager was very rude when I asked for a form to be accepted from the insurance to allow me to come to the practice.

After several inadequate visits and no follow through. Dr. Ditzler is tired and I think feels overwhelmed by lack of staff and seeing to many patients. Think its time he either retires or hires extra staff to assist him. Staff rude and over worked, even had to wait almost two hours for a 5 minute visit... I had several mishaps in my care and do not feel I am being cared for as I should be. I will be looking for a new Doctor. I will not be returning to this office of Physician.

I started going to this office back in 2012 I think and it seems the quality has went down extremely. The only reason why my family and I stayed was because of the staff was that nice. We also stayed because of Travis Stuckey (PA), as he was very knowledgeable and considerate. Dr. Ditzler seems to be tired. My mother still sees him and she was in the waiting room for over 3 hours. That is not good at all.

Was a patient for many years. Nurse practitioner, Michael, told me to call in for a prescription but never put the information in my record. He also wrote his instructions for me on a paper towel. When I called for the medication to be called in, he said he didn't have time to write down every little thing he talked about with a patient. but then changed my records to reflect his lie. Dr. Ditzler refused to call me back when I left a message for him then sent me a letter dismissing me as a patient. Extremely inconsiderate and uncaring set of practitioners.
