Dr Dylla is the full-time partner with Southdale Periodontics.  He is a native of Rochester, Minnesota and completed his dental school, conscious sedation certification and Periodontal certification residency at the University of Minnesota.  While at the university he received multiple dental awards for excellence in clinical and didactic dentistry. His dedication to excellence led him to graduate with Distinction and Summa Cum Laude in Periodontics. Dr Dylla is a current Adjunct Associate Professor with the University of Minnesota and teaches in the Graduate Periodontology clinics.  Commitment to continued dental education is reflected in his role as Co-Director of the Southside Comprehensive Seattle Study Club and as an active member of the American Academy of Periodontology (AAP), American Dental Association (ADA), Minnesota Dental Association, as a Delegate for the Minneapolis District Dental Society, Omicron Kappa Upsilon (National Dental Honor Society) and …American Dental Society of Anesthesiology.  He has lectured at the AAP Oral Research Forum and most recently to the Philippine Dental Association on “Interdisciplinary Dental Implant Therapy”. Dr Dylla’s sister is also a dentist in the Twin Cities metro region. On his spare time he enjoys activities with his wife, young son and new daughter.
