very professional, friendly, was not rushed, gave good instructions,etc

Very quick office visits after the first few. My heart started to have an irregular beat during an infusion and the nurses stopped it quickly. They called Dr. Eldridge and he told them to start it back up! Wasn't concerned at all about the irregular heartbeat. He also refused fluids to me. Said there was a shortage. Scary.

Wasn't knowledgeable or compassionate. Was wishy washy about what treatment I needed. I found another oncologist

Lots of times he was in a hurry and didn't answer all questions. He then set me up to see his PA without telling me. He gave very bad surgical advice that caused me to have extensive nerve damage. He should leave surgical advice to surgeons. I didn't find him to be compassionate. I required several chemo treatments and it seemed the longer I was a patient the less compassionate he was. He was just interested in getting me in and out as quickly as possible.

He knew I had problems tolerating Herceptin treatments and refused to slow the infusions down. He also refused to give Herceptin every week instead of every 3 weeks. He refused to give me fluids even after the chemo nurses told him I did better when they were given. Because of the speedy Herceptin infusions, I now have permanant hearing damage and tinnitus. I also was unable to complete the full year of Herceptin. After I pulled my medical records, I found that he had written false statements in them. My recommendation is to find someone else.

Doesn't believe you when you tell him you are having side effects and ignores them. I have permanent damage because he would not listen. He would not slow my chemo infusion down. Also gave bad surgical advice. I do not recommend him.

He was very open and honest with my mother and my mother-in-law. He always took time with them and with the family. I would recommend him to anyone.

He is usually in a hurry. If you don't have any side effects or questions you might be okay. He doesn't respond we'll to side effects. I have permanent hearing damage because he didn't listen to me when I told him my ears were ringing more with each treatment. He told me it was physiological when I had side effects and ended up in the hospital. I had to go to another hospital and see a different doctor and they diagnosed me with Toxoplasmosis. He just kept ignoring me when I told him I was sick.

Very caring physician. Took time with patient to help them understand diagnosis. Wonderful!

He is very knowledgable and caring. He takes a special interest in his patient and will talk to the family as well. He takes time with his patient and no matter how many time you ask the same question, he will answer it. His first question to the patient is how are you feeling? Are you in pain? He has been a blessing to us.
