Dr. Russell A Ferstandig, MD

“Dr. Russ” came highly recommended. But once I saw him I understood why!!! He is a pill pusher of the worst kind. If you do your own research you will find he has been sued in the past for similar issues and even lost his license to practice medicine for 10 years due to his personal drug use. Beware of Dr. Russ!!!

This place is an utter mess. Ferstandig is lost- sorry to say- and he is the one there treating patients. Never remembers who you are. Doesn’t answer emails and then asks why you haven’t contacted him. Never remembers what medications he’s prescribed and continuously puts you on old medication that didn’t work in the past. Sits and talks about himself half of the time. Never asks questions about how you’re feeling- just immediately comes to the conclusion of what should be done so he can charge you the $200 and kick you out of his office in 15 mins. Worst of all, his secretary, who was most likely found in the gutter of Camden, Definitely has something over him because she continues to keep her job despite harassing patients, not re-filling medications, not sending patient records to requesting facilities/doctors, NJ Health Dept. and lawyers. This woman is god awful. I do t know how she manages to keep a job working with crazy people...oh wait, now I get it :)

All I can say is I don't know what I would do without him. He is the most understanding Dr I have ever been to. He is THE BEST EVER. Even tho he doesn't take insurance,I wouldn't give him up for the world. And Judy,his secretary is the same way,She has the greatest personality ever. I love going there! They are the best! HE LISTENS TO EVERYTHING YOU NEED TO TALK ABOUT. SO THANK YOU DR RUSS.YOU ARE THE BEST!

When U drive over an hour to see a Dr you know he is AMAZING...So is Jody! He is very smart,caring and, up front. Also has a charming side. He has really helped me.

My name is linda . Dr Ferstandig is the best dr I have seen he spends all of his time explaining everything. I ask him until I understand it , he never rushes me out his bedside manner is spot on I can name a few docters that could learn a thing or two about being a caering dr and who listens too you. I am so happy dr ferstandig is my dr if anyone is looking for a good , caering and understanding dr then this is him.

Dr ferstandig is a great doctor. I paid for a half hour session and he spent over an hour with me. He is nothing like my past Dr and recommend him to anyone seeking help fomental health or suboxone. Wgreat staff too

Clueless about Suboxone treatment. Doesn't understand it has a very long half life and that the drug therefore stacks in a patient's body. Furthermore, he doesn't understand the drug has a ceiling effect. The result? A very expensive "treatment" that only benefits him and the manufacturer of Suboxone.

Ive been seeing Dr. Ferstandig for over a year. Basically, I came to see him. I was in big trouble and he pretty much talked me off the ledge. Hes given me good support, always been there for me, always picked up the phone. Pretty much now I hold down my job, got my wife back, my family. Everythings going good. If it wasnt for Dr. Ferstandig, I wouldnt be here today. Im healthy, happy and he pretty much saved my life.

Ive been coming to Dr. Ferstandig for about ten months now. Feel very Comfortable talking to him. When I first came to him, I had a lot of issues and he really helped me out. Hes a great guy, made me feel very comfortable. Been very good meeting him. I wouldnt have any other way than coming to Dr. Ferstanding. Thank you very much for helping me out.
