Dr. Russell Patrick Gollard, MD

I have been seeing him for over a year and he is the best!

It takes a very special Dr. to go into Onocology.. Compassion, understanding ,and extreme intelligence. This Doctor saved my life over 16 years ago. He got to know me as not just a patient but as a person, going through a nightmare. I am well now, and so thankful Doctor GOLLARD was in my life. If only all Doctors had his dedication and love for all the people he treats. I thank my Heavenly Father still to this day, that he was the Doctor that took care of me. He was my miracle.

I was diagnosed with Acute Lymphoblastic Leukemia in 2001. Dr. Gollard treated me with such compassion, and thouroughness, I believe I would not be here today without his care. He takes the time to know the total person , not just a diagnoses. I travel hundreds of miles to see him. He is kind, works tiresly in finding out what is going on in all aspects of my health. He has been a gift and a blessing to my life.

I have been with Dr. Gollard for 17 years. He has monitored my general health as well as my 3 cancer occurrences since my first occurrence in 1999. Three of my friends were referred to Dr. Gollard at the onset of their cancers. We all agree he is the greatest!

I was stuck with him being my doctor for over a year. Always a good hour late, then spend 2 minutes with me, never listened and never wrote down other health problems found by other doctors that other doctors told me to inform gollard. I am glad he is no longer at the same place.

Dr. Gollard is such a loving, dedicated physician. He took such good care of me. I wouldn't see any other oncologist in Las Vegas. You might have to wait for a while in the office, but that's because he takes time with each patient... I'm well because of Dr. Gollard!

I found this dr by default really and thank goodness for that. This man is amazing, they could not figure what was going on with me and Dr Gollard sent my biopsy to someone he knew and they never even charged me. They found out I had a rare type of situation on the cancer cells themselves so suddenly I need a stem cell transplant. Dr Gollard always answered my questions as well as my wife, he made us feel so cared for and that he would be with us every step of the way. He was available to us no matter what. He always made sure to take such care of me and it is now 4 years later when I had only a 5% chance of survival and because of him they are saying I am CURED! This man is truly a wonderful, caring man who really knows his stuff. The wait can be long at his office but once you do see him he takes all of that away and spends as much time with you as you need. The only negative at his office is the horrible, angry, miserable front desk lady. She must really be a miserable… woman because she is so rude. If all drs were like Dr Gollard the entire medical practice would be so wonderful. My wife thanks Dr Gollard for being there for her, he really helped her through this as well. All the staff were so kind to my wife and so helpful always making sure my tests were authorized quickly and I had my transfusions set up. A huge thanks to this man.

Dr. Gollard is an amazing doctor. He has a great bedside manner and will answer any and all questions, making sure I understand everything he tells me. I can call him any time (day or night) if I need to speak with him about something. He is very knowledgeable about all things cancer, including my very rare form of cancer. He has helped me survive for many years and I could not ask for a better doctor.

Caring, competent, responsive

My husband had a blood test performed in the office. Later we got a bill from a lab that Gollard had sent his blood to for more tests. We never authorized these and were not told they were going to be done. Some had just been performed 2 weeks prior so there was no need to have them done again. When I called, the woman was extremely rude. I told her no one told us his blood was going to be sent out, and she said, Well, you never told us we couldn't send it out. Why would we tell them they couldn't do something we didn't know was going to happen? When I said I wasn't paying for tests we didn't want done she said, What's the big deal, you have insurance! A good doctor would communicate with patients and discuss any tests he feels necessary with them, not just do something & expect them to foot the bill. I feel like this office is taking advantage of patients & insurance companies to line their own pockets.
