Dr. Russell C Vanbiber, MD

Dr. Vanbiber and his staff are EXCELLENT. Old reviews are just that - old. I would feel lost without Dr. Vanbiber and his staff.

I recently had an appointment with Dr. Vanbiber. He is awesome. I highly recommend him. He is a wonder family physician.

I would not see this doctor again. I went in because I am still sick with Bronchitis and he said that I had Pneumonia before even seeing the X-rays. He didn't check my throat, ears, or even my temperature. He didn't prescribe anything to help with my cough, just more antibiotics. The staff was also talking about their sex life while I was in the waiting room. Really unprofessional.

Well I will say that first of all his staff will make you have high blood pressure because they are the rudest people around and actually talk back and give attitude when none is needed. Second..this Dr will literally give you any prescription (with 3 refills I might add) no matter what the contraindications might be and will not even put a stethoscope to you..sooo scary. I'm really not sure how he is practicing medicine at all. He can't do a sick visit and give refills at the same time either..you need to make 2 appts for that. I went only for refills on scripts but would not trust him to care for my worst enemie. BEWARE

I went to Dr. Vanbiber for a annual physical . He visited with me for 5 minutes. Seemed out of it or disinterested in what he was doing. Took me over 3 weeks to receive my lab results only after showing up at his office to get them because no one would return my calls. When I did show up at his office and demanded my results, they told me that they just received my lab results on that day. The doctor did not review the results with me, but his 20 something year old office receptionist took me in to a room and read my results to me. I will never go back to this office again. Beware

I've been a patient of Dr. Vanbiber's for around 5 years now. When I was laid off in 2009 and didn't have health insurance, Dr. Vanbiber waived the charges for a visit to refill a prescription.

I have been a patient of Dr. Vanbiber's for many years. I am very happy with his new practice. I was alarmed when a friend of mine told me to go to this website for the reviews. I am not sure who those people are, especially "inept" considering it has been years since he was with Hillcroft and have none of the staff he had before. I have found the easy use of his new website which allows me to ask questions via email. I know as a patient I would rather have the nurse email then call me while in clinic where I know people can hear her speak about me. Everyone has an opinion, one should develop their own. These websites are very helpful, but I have found that those writing negative reviews didn't get their way when they were bullying the physician, store, or whatever service related facility they speak negatively.

My father was a patient of this inept MD. His nurse/receptionist Dixie, could have cared less about my calls and my brother's calls about the health issues our father would have as he grew older. Glad to hear he is no longer practicing "medicine" at Hillcroft Medical Clinic. Beware of this MD and "Ditzy". They could care less about their patients, and never listened to the present issues at hand. I give him no rating at all, he does not deserve a half of a star.

I am very disappointed in the patient care I received in Dr. Vanbiber's office. The staff was very unprofessional and talked about inappropriate things in the hallway when my room door was open. I left numerous voicemails for lab results with no call back. They did not call in a prescription I needed over the weekend and no emergency line to call to get refills. The doctor spent about 5 minutes with me and was unable to diagnose my condition after taking numerous blood tests and office visits. I will not go back ever again and I would recommend you do not try him out either! Truly disappointed!!!

I was not pleased with Dr. Vanbiber's method in which he handled my case. He showed a lack of interest with my problem and basically wanted me to hurry up so he could get out of there. I was going through a difficult time in my life and he gave me the impression that he just couldn't be bothered with it. As for his staff, I was greeted like I was just another person. I was not happy, overall with this office and would not recommend him to any of my friends.
