Russell Yap, ATC

Russell is a certified athletic trainer with Samaritan Athletic Medicine and provides services to student-athletes at Linn-Benton Community College. He has extensive athletic training experience at the Division I, Division II, and NAIA levels. He has a passion for helping people get back to the activities they love following athletic injuries. Russell earned his undergraduate degree from Oregon State University. Following athletic training stints at New Mexico State University, Southwestern Oklahoma State University, and Missouri University of Science and Technology, he began working his way back to the Willamette Valley as the head athletic trainer at Eastern Oregon University. Outside of the athletic training room, Russell enjoys spending time with family and friends, fishing, golfing and watching sporting events.
