Dr. Ruth Ann Blair, MD

I’ve been going to Dr Blair for a long time. Yes it does feel like you’re being rushed sometimes, but throughout my whole life, it’s been the same way in all of the different cities and states that I’ve lived in. I’ve been to the ER several times in the last 6-7 months, in which the ER doctor could not tell me what was wrong with me. I go back to Dr Blair and gets things rolling to get a answer. My baby has not been feeling good so I did the walk in clinic and dr Blair was the doctor on duty. My daughter ended up having a ear infection, which she gave me antibiotics for, I explained to her my husband is allergic to amoxicillin and we wanted to stay away from it just to be on the safe side. We'll that is what she deemed best to give her. We'll that night she had the same reaction as my husband which is severer diaherria . Called her office to see if she could change it to a different script. Was told no that I was basically over reacting and to give her baby Yogurt to harden her stool. I just felt like she could care less and didn't want to be bother with it.

Felt very rushed, 18 month old daughter had very high lymphocytes come back on cbc and a rash with multiple other symptoms as a nurse myself I knew how important it would be to have documented when certain sympotoms first arrived. Dr Blair showed no interest in my list, rushed us through the appointment (after waiting over an hour to be seen) ordered a blood test which showed the increase in lymphocytes then only gave us the "diagnosis" of "something viral" when asked what were the possibilites her virus could be Dr blair just said "it could be many things" no follow up..

Dr. Blair is a wonderful, caring physician that seems to be genuinely interested in her patients. The office staff is another matter. Rude, impolite, and portray a true sense of not caring. I am fed up with the office staff and am changing to another clinic.
