Dr. Ruth Louise Eckert

Dr. Eckert is as caring and capable physician as one could hope to have attend to you. we have been fortunate to utilize her services since she began her practice in Scottsdale some 40 years ago.

I would highly recommend Dr. Eckert ,for her knowledge, compassion and time. She responds to my questions within a reasonable time period.

Dr. Ruth restores my faith in modern medicine. She always fits me in to her schedule working around my busy schedule. She spends time with me and gets to know me as a whole person, not just a specific body part. She is kind, compassionate and lets me know if I am not taking care of myself. She's the BEST!!!

I have been seeing Dr Ekert for over 15 years and am continually impressed with her knowledge and dedication to her practice. She listens very well and respects my opinions. Since she joined MVIP she now has time to spend additional l time with her patients as needed. She is thorough and follows up and coordinates with my other docs.

I've been going to Dr Eckert for a couple of years and have found her to be very thorough, compassionate, and by far the best doctor I've ever had. She saved me from a hysterectomy that had been recommended by 2 gyns because she was willing to take more time to think through my symptoms and try other approaches. She's very knowledgeable about ways to improve health with nutritional choices instead of just throwing prescriptions at you, if you're willing to work on your food choices. I love how she thinks long-term health instead of just treating symptoms and waiting for the next crisis to come along. Even from the very first appointment I was impressed with how carefully she listens and considers what I say. She was recommended to me by another doctor, and I'm very glad to have found her.

This practitioner and others in her practice are little more than triage personnel with little expertise behind this skill. If you are 50 hrs old or more, get an internist and don't waste your time with this "dance of futility" that is graced with the title of medical practitioners. By the way, I am an MD and have had about 10 yrs as a passive observer and about 2 visits as a patient. If her practice is going to be a model for future medical care, God help us. PS, they have no idea how ineffectual they are.

Dr. Eckert is a caring, knowledgeable doctor. She has been my primary care doctor for almost 30 years. I trust her when I want a recommendation for a specialist or treatment for an ailment.
