Dr. Ruth Emily Geller, MD

Before her my doc was Mr. Charlie. he was very laid back easy to talk to. At first Dr. Geller was cold. thought she knew everything. she asked questions confidently knowing the answer... then i'd always shoot her down.. it was like a dog fight. it went on like this for several sessions until she said "i don't know everything so i will listen to you mr. unnamed". After that i was able to explain to her how i was feeling. i was able to get the prescription coctail that most relates to my problems. it did take some time but she/ we finally found the right mix of medications that did not get me sick, sleepy, wired, dopey and feel crazy. I immediately told her that. she said well good it takes time to get the correct mixture of meds sometimes. now when i go 1 per month, she is very receptive talks, jokes, refills my prescriptions, checks my blood works, recommends me for other clinics when need be.

This woman is not very helpful at all. She is arrogant and pushy and does not listen at all to the patient. She thinks she is completely right always and will not let you forget it for a moment. The appointments were only 20 minutes long and she started late - always. She would speak for 10 minutes and then stop to session to write her patient report while patients sit there watching her misspell half of it. She deliberately mispronounces names, even after being corrected and does not have respect for her patients. I would NEVER recommend this woman to anyone. She has no idea what she is doing and will not tolerate criticism from patients or their families. It seems like the only reason she is in psychology is because she could not get into a better specialization after medical school. DO NOT GO TO THIS WOMAN who doesn't even deserve to be called doctor. Witch doctor perhaps.
