Dr. Ruth Virginia Hussey, DO

I always had high BLOOD PRESSURE but not when I had appointments with Hussey. Went to her office because I wasn't feeling well. She checked my blood pressure (normal), always normal, NOT. I left her office and went straight to the hospital. Long story short, I had open Heart surg. soon after. Her mind seemed to always be somewhere else. Not compassionate at all. Basically, she was horrible. :(

I love that you only see one doctor when you go to see Dr. Hussey. She gets to know you as a person instead of a paycheck. Dr. Hussey takes the time to listen to you and your concerns before diagnosing you. She doesn't just throw a prescription for antibiotics at you and rush you out the door. Wonderful woman, wonderful doctor!

I suffered from kidney pain and abnormal lab tests. Dr Hussey refused to send me to a specialist saying she would be the laughing stock of Cincinnati if she did so.Dr. Hussey ordered a lab test but forget to get the results. I went and got the results from St. Elizabeth then went to a specialist who diagnosed me with kidney stones in the right and left kidneys. In the past Dr. Hussey had me suffer with hiatal hernia and ulcers cause Dr. Hussey said I did not seem to be in enough pain. Dr. Hussey did apologize but I told her "I AM IN EXTREME PAIN"DR HUSSEY"S STAFF WAS VERY RUDE AND EVEN SLAMMED THE PHONE WHEN I WAS TALKING TO THEM.DR HUSSEY ONLY ACCEPTS CASH OR CHECK>IN MY OPINION THIS IS A HOSTILE DR WHO SHOULD NOT DEAL WITH PATIENTS!!!

I have been a patient of this doctor for several years. My health has continued to get worse and the things she diagnosed me with were wrong. She still didnt have any answers about why I was feeling so ill. Because of this I got fed up chose a new doctor. After 30 minutes of examining me and looking at all my past lab work, she figured out what was really wrong. What she discovered was life-threatening if it had gone untreated. With the help of new doctor and my pharmacist Im finally going to get well.
