Dr. Ruth Ann Johnson, MD

I was reading the other comments and was kind of shocked at the negative reviews. I have been going to Dr. Johnson for quite some time...over 15 years and have followed her from office to office. I feel she is very understanding and sympathetic. She doesn't rush in and out and really listens to you. If one test result comes back negative, she will continue to investigate until an answer is found. I know for a fact because I am one of her "problem" patients with MS! I travel 20 miles to see her and wouldn't think about seeing a new doctor. My mom and I just love her!

I've seen the actual doctor 1 time in the 4 years she has been my primary md. My concerns and symptoms reported to her first NP then PA over the years have gone ignored and unreferred. I had to review my own bloodwork and goggle the results along with my symptoms and take my concerns to specialists for diagnosis, thankfully I did not require a referral with the insurance I had. Office is great for annual physical/obtaining bloodwork, giving out antibiotics and an understanding person to listen but I don't recommend if you have a real issue.

The office continually did not bill correctly and had problems with insurance. They said they sent bills to my house which I never received and now in collections. I have switched to new provider and have not had a problem in over a year. I believe there billing practices are a problem.

I have had Ruth as my doctor for 20 years. She is knowledgable (and if not refers you to someone who can help!), kind, never acts skeptical of crazy symptoms....just a Godsend in the medical community. I recommend her to anybody searching for a good doctor.

I really like Dr Johnson and Dr Dee but to deal with wendynis just too painful she is very ignorant and lazy don't ask her to do something for you because it will take some time. I needed something once and she never did it and I went there and good thing door was locked, she must of been on lunch because I was fuming mad and she was going to get a piece of my mind! She needs to go! Dr Johnson do you read these because she is bad for business!

Don't expect anything from this staff. Horrible and cannot wait to FIND ANY other doctor!

Dr. Johnson, PA Dee and RN Michelle are all great. However, the same cannot be said about Office Manager Wendy. She is always rude and difficult to work with. I even considered changing doctor because of her, but I like Dr. J too much.
