Dr. Ryan R Barrientos

I just got a bill from this doctor for $111 when I already paid the co-pay when I went to see him. What a crook. He did NOTHING for me and charged me for it. This doctor is a JOKE. His office is a JOKE. The doctor had horrible bedside manner - a waste of a drive and the parking fee.

Dr Barrientos is a great physician. He listens to your problem and makes you feel like you are not alone. He also has great staff. They are very knowledgeable.

As a doctor he seems to be good...but his bedside manner could definitely stand some improvement. He shows no concern for you as a person he treats you only a procedure to him. But if you can get his attention he will talk to you with more concern and compassion. At that point he becomes a great doctor

I went to see Dr. Barrientos for some GI issues I was experiencing over a months’ time with having no history of GI issues. He thought I may have diverticulitis and ordered a CT scan. He ruled out diverticulitis with the CT scan result and prescribed a very mild laxative to help me. The first day I took the medication I experienced some pretty terrible side effects so I called the office and left a message. The second time I took it the same thing happened so I called the following business day and spoke with the receptionist. I explained what was happening and she said that what I was experiencing was pretty common and that there was another drug he often prescribed that she could give me a sample of if I could make it over to the office the next morning. I’d like to clarify that she did not place me on hold nor did she consult the doctor before offering the free sample of prescription medication to me. I found that to be strange and irresponsible. The side effects I was experiencing… were severe and on the warning labels of the meds it said to cease taking them if those occurred. I’ll add that I called on Friday and was not able to get a hold of anyone (just a voicemail) and I left one, and then had to still follow up the following morning, simply for someone without a medical degree to prescribe an alternative. I’ll also add that I had the same exact experience when I was trying to get my test results the previous week. No one was available to answer my calls so I left voicemails and it was days later I finally heard back from the doctor with an opinion that was in sum, he had no idea why I was having the problems. He has still not called to check to see how the drug is working or ask how I am doing a week later and I am seeking a second opinion. On my initial visit, I waited 1.5 hour for the consult and only saw the doctor after I went up to reception and informed them that I needed to be back at work for an appointment and it was at that point they let me ‘skip the line’ and I spent five minutes with the doctor. It could be that this doctor is simply overwhelmed with his patient load but I am still without answers, out money and now have added problems that I am seeking help with (the effects form the medication which have still not gotten any better after ceasing taking it.) This office seems very disorganized AND/OR very disinterested.

Was very professional and thorough when explaining my condition and procedure.

I've been seeing Dr. Barrientos for 4 years for the management of Crohn's Disease, of which I was diagnosed with 20+ years ago. A solid relationship is very important to me, and the care and genuine empathy Dr. Barrientos has provided over the years has been nothing short of exceptional. Would highly recommend to anyone seeking care.

Dr. Barrientos listens to his patients. He is very knowledgeable and truly cares about your problems. He has a wonderful bed side manner. His staff is equally amazing!

Dr Barrientos is an excellent doctor and human being. He is kind, patient and supportive. He cares about the patient. He answers all your questions in a highly professional manner. Very considerate. I highly recommend him
