Summary
For me, the best part about being a surgeon is meeting sick patients with correctable problems, helping them through those problems, and then seeing them recover and return to their normal lives afterward.
I’m especially interested in endocrine disorders and complex and large hernia repairs, and believe individualized care is best, and not a one-size-fits-all philosophy. I enjoy talking with patients about the various options. The ultimate decision on whether or not to have surgery is a big one, and I want patients to be well-informed while they make that decision.
I’ve always enjoyed working with my hands and fixing things, as well as solving difficult problems. Surgery lets me pursue both of these interests, all while helping patients.
