Dr. Ryan Patrick Calfee, MD

My elderly father had to have his finger amputated and Dr Calfee was awesome! He was so patient and kind, answered all of our questions and was truly concerned. He did not rush thru any appointments and always had a smile which means so much. I would highly recommend Dr Calfee for a surgeon

Dr. Calfee was awesome! I severed a nerve in my hand and he did surgery, and the recovery was very quick and easy with minimal pain. His bedside manner is phenomenal and he goes above and beyond for his patients! I highly recommend him.

I have had two hand surgeries by Dr Calfee and one elbow surgery pending. EVERY time I see him he is kind and personable. he listens to my complaints and quickly gives me the options and make sure we have the same long term goal. I have sent friends and family to him and everyone has had the same experience. There has been a few minor delays, however, he is worth the wait. He will take the time you need while you are with him.

I never actually got to see the doctor. After 1 hr and 27 mins I decided there was time management problem with this doctor's office and did not want to commit to future dates with someone who does not respect my time. I came in 30 mins early as a new patient as they requested. I should also note that after speaking with other ortho offices this office can take in up to 300 patients per day. I'm sure this is why I felt like a cow being herded. I'm still waiting on my refund of my co-pay to hit the bank and paid for parking while wasting 2 hrs of my time for absolutely nothing. I would not recommend this doctor or office.

I shattered my elbow in 2010 he repaired it with a plate and screws and works great no issues to this day.. He was a very nice and extremely happy person, seems as if he really cared about getting me back to normal

Dr.Calfee did a great job fixing my hand. I was Very Worried about the rate of progression that my hand was deteriorating. After having to be refered and learning I had to have surgery on my hand I was angery at the way my case was handled by my primary health care provider and stressed about neeeding surgery. Dr.Calfee understood and empathized with my concerns with having surgery on my hand. He was confident without coming off as arrogant, in his knowledge of my condition and confidence in his ability to perform the surgery. Dr. Calfee even spoke to me about his concern about where he felt I may never regain feeling in my hand. Dr. Calfee answerd all my questions in person during my office visit, talked to me prior to sugery, after surgery, and during follow up appointments. I wasn't pushed off to an inturn or other staff member. The surgery went very well and successful beyond my expectations. I have full range of motion in my hand and fingers that were effected prior to surgery… having followed Dr. Calfee's physical therapy orders and his staff recommendations. Dr.Calfee's staff was professional, personable, and have a good sense of humor that comes with their field. Thank you so much to all involved.

Dr. Calfee was very warm and concerned about my problems. His staff was wonderful too. He spent time with me and tried to figure out the problem and how best to help me. I would recommend him to friends.
