Dr Chamberlain cares!

this guy should NOT be a Doctor. Had to go to the ER at Memorial Hospital a couple nights ago. After meeting him and his attitude I decided I was leaving and would follow up the next morning at my family physicians office the next morning. He comes into the room after I told the nurse to inform him that I was leaving. Chamberlain chimes bursting back into my room and informed me that he was admitting me that I needed to stay in hospital after days. After I was adamant about leaving, I informed him I would follow up the following morning with my regular doctor. After all I was feeling better. He started screaming very loud and I quote, " Look lady if you do not let me admit you.... your going to die tonight! You are going to go home and when you fall asleep you are going to DIE". Those were his exact words. At first I thought I didn't hear him correctly so I said, " excuse me" and he yelled even louder and his spit landed on my neck ( I was laying back in the chair ) and he repeated "… IF YOU DO NOT LET ME ADMIT YOU.... YOU ARE GONNA GO HOME TONIGHT AND GO TO SLEEP AND YOUR GOING TO DIE"! I looked over at the male nurse and he was freaking out I could tell that he couldn't believe what he was hearing. I was in a full blown panic attack. I looked at him and asked him to leave the room so I could put my clothes on and get out of the gown . Then he yelled again, " You Are Gonna Die Tonight !". When he left the nurse apologized and by that time I broke down crying and started putting my clothes on . The nurse came back with some paperwork and asked me to sign them. I informed him that I needed to look over them real fast before I sighed them . I was crying and shaking fearlessly. The Doctor stuck his head in the door and yelled, " Just sign the Dam paperwork." and walked off. When I looked at the first page my name had been forged. I wasn't signing anything and I didn't ! I got home and started looking at the paperwork. He or someone had forged my name in several places! I think it was him . I walked out of Memorial at around 9:30. It is now 3:44 a m. and I'm still in panic and scared to DEATH that he might come by my house and actually " do the deed". Y'all I have never in my life been so upset over a visit to the E. R. I m getting up in the morning ( if I'm still alive and going to HR about this doctor! I don't want to cause a seen over this ( nothing will probably happen to him ! no reprimand or anything ) If you happen to have to go to the ER at Memorial Hospital and your doctor is Chamberlain, you better RUN! I. CAN'T WAIT TO GO TO HR in the morning ! There is something seriously wrong with this guy !!! RUN LIKE HELL !

Dr Chamberlain was my ER physician at methodist hospital I have a medical background prior to retiringHe was not aware of that He was the most brilliant caring attentive doctor I've ever had

Just bad, something's just really extremely off with this doctor. Past comments seem to cover it all. The encounter was at Memorial Hospital in Gulfport, MS.

Some of the worse manners I have encountered. Self-entitled Dr. Especially when the patient does not know what is going on, never met such a snappy doctor in my life. He may know medicine and treatment protocols but he also needs to learn manners and discipline.

To be board certified in emergency medicine, Dr. Chamberlain has none of the requisite compassion, understanding, rapport, or knowledge of pain, discomfort, and disease exacerbation. After no treatment at all for four hours, the doctor finally came in for the first time. Multiple Sclerosis with emergent, uncontrolled trigeminal neuropathic pain was refused any pain medication except a "Norco or two," then discharge. Saying he wasn't treating "chronic pain." Extremely condescending attitude and speech ("mmKay). This patient did not take opioids at home. Dr. Chamberlain treated him like a drug-seeking fiend, telling him he would not be prescribing take home pain killers, even though patient never requested such. All of this followed after Dr. Chamberlain had humiliated, chagrined, and chastened two other patients next door. One had severe otitis media with ear canal practically shut with inflammation. Very painful. After demeaning patient's PCP for "wrong antibiotic anyway," he… continued to refuse pain med for guy's pain. "Inflammation should go down and pain will subside. I'll give you some ibuprofen." Another guy was chastised that he wouldn't calm down. "You're acting like you fell off a 3-story building!" This was one of the most HORRID and demeaning Emergency Department encounters I've ever experienced. The experience I observed was blatantly poor, unprofessional, and lacking ethics or any culture if care! This doctor is unprofessional, uncaring, and disinterested in assessing and treating pain much less consideration of each patient's current experience in crisis.

This doctor doesn’t seem to care! He’s in wrong profession.
