Dr. Ryan Jon Chauffe, DO

Have seen Dr. Chauffe for a few years now and he has always been very attentive to my needs, has a great bedside manner, and takes his time to answer all my questions. He is very knowledgeable in his field but also knows how a person should be treated. Very sorry to hear Dr. Chauffe will be relocating to Jacksonville soon, but thankful for the time he was my cardiologist.

Easy sign in and Dr Chauffe was on time. Very good bedside manner. Takes the time to ask and answer questions.

Dr Chauffe was very nice, professional. My visit was excellent, explained fully my concern.

The appointment was somewhat urgent for me. However when I saw the doctor and he said further test I didn’t feel that it was urgent to him. So I relaxed a little.

This past appointment with DR. Chauffe was a post surgery follow up. Dr. Chauffe was on duty at the hospital when I came in as an emergency patient for a 90% blockage in an artery. He put a stent in and since then I feel terrific. I really feel good regarding his post surgery care and advice.

Actual appointment was efficient. Dr chauffe asked all the right questions. For me it's a follow-up so was not time intensive. I came to him after my previous cardiologist of many many years retired. So I was a little bit worried that there might not be the same rapport. However things have worked out fine. Please note however that the check-in process has changed at the office. It is horrible. It is kiosk only. And easily over half of the people that tried to check in just couldn't. A lot of them were elderly a lot of them were not computer literate. This would be a big source of contention for me. It was much faster and much easier when you actually just checked in at the front desk. I am fairly proficient at computers and even my insurance card presented a problem with the kiosk. I know this is not a doctor chauffe issue but it really can make a determination as to whether or not it's worth a hassle to use this facility for appointments.

Dr. Chauffe was able to see me the same day I called. I was experiencing side effects from a medication that had been prescribed by my regular APRN. He was on time and spent as much time with me as I wanted. He solved the current problem (I hope). He explained to me what the course of tests and treatment would be. I only wish the course of treatment could go faster but that is not up to him or me. I am very grateful that he saw me so quickly.

Do not get me wrong but those appointments could been scheduled over phone. I have had tightness in chest for a while but will be 6 weeks before any test can be done. He took my vitals and ekg. That it. The woman that checked us out was great.

Visit was timely, very professional like, and I felt confident leaving the doctors office. A+.
