I was seen by [Doctor's Name] for severe symptoms, but after blood work and tests, I was told I simply had acid reflux and was sent home. Dissatisfied and still in pain, I sought a second opinion from Dr. Powell. Upon reviewing the situation, Dr. Powell identified clear signs of Pancreatitis and sent me into surgery immediately to save my life. It is my opinion, based on the starkly different medical responses I received within a short window of time, that the initial assessment was dangerously inaccurate. I strongly encourage anyone seen by this provider to trust their gut and seek a second opinion if the diagnosis doesn't feel right. My experience suggests a concerning lack of thoroughness that others should be aware of.

Avoid at all costs. This doctor works at the ER Methodist where I was misdiagnosed despite that the blood work and tests reveal symptoms of Pancreatitis needed immediate surgery, this Dr said I simply had acid reflux and sent me home. I finally got a second opinion from Dr. Powell and he immediately saw all the signs and sent me to surgery to save my life. This misdiagnosis is not only experienced by me, but all one needs to do is to peruse other reviews of this doctor will cut and run.
