Dr. Ryan Eric Dobbs, MD

Highly recommend. I found Dr. Dobbs and his PA and office assistant to be extraordinary. Dr. Dobbs did his residency at the Mayo Clinic in Rochester, MN which was on of the reasons I chose to meet with him initially. The wait times were minimal. Communications through My Chart was prompt and helpful. And even knowing he has done this surgery numerous times, he spent time with my wife and me to patiently explain the procedure, the expectations for recovery, etc. He was "present," and I never got the sense he was anxious to move on to his next patience. My recovery has been just as explained. The surgery itself, done at ROC, was excellent - all staff were professional, competent and a joy to be around.

I like Dr. Dobbs easy manner. He addressed my questions about my shoulder problem and offered (since he is a surgeon) an arthrocentesis or shoulder replacement of the head of the humerus and the glenoid cavity where the humeral head moves. I am now scheduled for this surgery. He explained the method mand the procedure in easy terms. The only thing is he was about 1/2 hour late for the appointment but once there he answered all questions regarding the surgery.

I just cant say enough about Dr Dobbs and his staff. Dr. Dobbs did surgery on my severely damaged knee due to a motorcycle accident. The pre- surgery, surgery and post experience was outstanding an the outcome incredible. Iv had the best insurance all my working life understandably now being on Medicaid Doctors tend to not spend the time or expend as much effort to your issues. I never once felt that with Dr. Dobbs or his staff and again I cant thank them enough for all they did are still doing to get me back on my feet. Respectfully, Phil Sellers

I had 2 total knee replacements with Dr. Dobbs. He & Suzanne Flint are wonderful & really care about their patients. I was in excruciating pain before my surgeries & now that pain is gone. I can’t thank them enough for their kindness & making my knees better. I would definitely recommend ROC to everyone. They have wonderful doctors & really care about their patients.

Dr Dobbs did a complete shoulder replacement on both of my shoulders. He is friendly and highly skilled. This is major surgery and I would only go with the best.

Dr.Dobbs repaired my right shoulder 10 years ago and his skill and expertise allowed me to lose a very close relationship with the aspirin bottle and to return to all activities pain free. When my left shoulder started to exhibit the same symptoms, I didn’t hesitate in contacting Dr. Dobbs. Although I have aged, he hasn’t lost a step. I’m on the road to recovery and am excited to lose the sling. Shoulder surgery is never pain free but his team sure works hard to make the experience as painless as possible.

Doctor Dobbs displays an atmosphere of extreme confidence without any arrogance. His demeanor makes a patient feel at ease with any situation. He has performed two procedures on me and I am very satisfied with him. My wife is about to have a hip replacement and we feel blessed that we have a surgeon with his experience and expertise.

Ive had multiple surgeries and was impressed with Dr Dobbs. He actually cares about his patience. And was also very friendly and sympothetic to my pain. He described in detail what I needed and how things would turn out. Ive sent a few people to him and all love the guy
