Dr. Ryan Douglas Duncan

Dr. Duncan IF that's what ya wanna call him.. "Dr". Is a rich .. high faluting.. snobbish.. discriminating poor of an excuse for Dr.. as well as his staff.. his office Mgr as well.. wouldn't recommend him to even my enemies.. lowdown piece of crap that cares NOTHING about his patients.. 1 star hmmmmmm don't deserve that much..

My internist recommended that I may need a sleep study. I saw Dr. Duncan and wrote copious notes about my situation. He was pleasant and good listener. I think a sleep study would have been beneficial. He was to call in a medication to my pharmacy but I had to call his office the next day because the rx wasn't called in. He said I had a lot of issues. He checked my ears, nose and looked into my mouth. There wasn't an explanation as to why I did not receive the sleep study other than movements during sleep etc. I was a little disappointed because I'd like to know if I have sleep apnea or not. He is a quiet man and I think very intelligent. He hears everything that is said but just doesn't communicate what he's thinking. The staff is helpful and friendly. He did say it I had any questions to call him any time. We shook hands twice and we both courteously said, "Nice to meet you." I liked him.

I had surgery from Dr Duncan in Oct of 2018. i found him to be a skilled, informative, surgeon with a reassuring manner. As far as office visits, he listened to what i had to say. It was always pretty quick in and out. not every Dr office is. Hope i never have to go back, but if i do, it will be there.

Dr. Duncan is a decent doctor, however, he is like talking to a brick wall. He has no emotion/ sense of humor and makes you feel as if he doesn't care about you and is just their to get your money and get out. When talking to him he isn't helpful whatsoever, he never once told me what to do or asked me questions but rather on three separate occasions asked if I had questions, he answered them to the minimialist extent and then was silent. Never made any suggestions as to what to do post surgery other than what it says in the paper work. The recovery nurse and him also told me separate things to do so when I tried contacting him he never gave me a return call. This guy is just asking for a lawsuit. If you choose duncan best of luck to you, your better off going to Dr. Stewart or Dr. Quisling. This was my third nose surgery and 5th overall surgery and have never been treated like this. Severely disappointed. Wouldn't even recommend to my dog.

Lost lab cultures ,was told it would take only a day two at the most.Call back three times within the following week to be told that my name was not put on label,but they would call me the next day.Never called.Unethical & unprofessional to say the least.Perhaps it was the office staff that made the error,but even if that is so,they should be fired,as ultimately it reflects back on the doctor who is responsible in the end.

When I first went to Dr. Duncan's office I felt a very good spirit just upon entering his office. His office staff was very nice and easy to talk to. When I took my seat the first thing I saw on the wall was a bible scripture and with me being a christian this really put me at ease. I was sent there by the er doctor therefore I had a little wait but it was a pleasant one. Even the other patients that were there were very nice people and that too let me know that I was in a good place. Dr. Duncan was very thorough and explained to me about my condition and made me feel at ease with the decision I made for him to perform surgery. Overall he is a good person and one whom I would not hesitate to recommend to others.
