Dr. Ryan G Farris, MD

Dr. Farris acted like he was skeptical about the nature of the back injury I originally presented with. He referred me out for an MRI for my neck albeit the chief complaint was my thoractic or mid back region. My neck showed bulging discs (that were minor, however, one had effasion to the spinal cord), and Farris claimed that was normal stating, "all people have bulging discs. You shouldn't have any pain, or it should be slight." Nevertheless, my chief complaint was with my mid back. I questioned him about why I didn't get an MRI for the thoractic region and he denied I had ever voiced concern about the mid-back area. He then reviewed his notes to prove I had never mentioned it, and learned on each visit that pain in my mid back was my chief complaint. The only response he could muster was, "oh." I finally received a referral for the injury to a neurosurgeon, and am glad to be over this. You may have better success, however, I was not satisfied.
