While I understand the doctor’s transition to a more profitable approach to patient care, it’s disappointing to be told that due to the change effective at the end of the month “we will not be able to refill the prescription that you’re out of because you’ve not signed up for the new program”. I have always had very good experiences with Dr. Forbess until now. I am very disappointed that, as a patient, my health is not as important as profit. I’ll find a new doctor and hopefully will be fine without my medication until I do but I would recommend that if you are looking for a physician that is genuinely invested in your health, look elsewhere. Thank you.

Dr. Ryan Forbess is very knowledgable and stays abreast of changes in the medical field as they occur. He is very patient oriented in providing care and treatment for me for whatever health issue I present and for well visits. He is the best PCP I’ve ever had in my 67 years. I am very fortunate to have Dr. Forbess as my PCP. So proud of him and for him as he opens his private practice the middle of this month.

Very disappointed. 3 hour wait.2 the week before. His excuse...busy. Maybe the shouldn't overbook Patients. We have lives too. And then I was misdiagnosed which caused me to be at Urgent care 2 days later and then a specialist doctor less than a week from original appt. Changing doctors asap. I want someone who has a better bedside manner.

It was hard finding doctors after relocating and having our physicians for over 20 years in B’ham. We were pleased with Dr. Forbess and his staff, and felt good about our choice we made.

I have been seeing Dr. Forbis for six or seven years now and I and I really like him. I don’t live anywhere near him but I used to work near him. That’s how I got started going to him. I still will travel 20+ miles for him to be my provider.
