About Dr. Goslin
Born and raised in Rhode Island, Ryan became a Vermonter at heart when he came to Burlington to attend UVM in 1993, pursuing a triple major in Biology, Nutrition and Dietetics. Despite much time spent hiking, camping, skiing and enjoying all the Green Mountains have to offer, Ryan graduated among the top of his class and worked for a year as a registered dietician at Boston's renowned Brigham and Women's hospital. While fascinated by the nuances of diet and nutrition and their importance to overall health, Ryan felt he wanted to delve into a field that required more hands-on involvement and a more steady relationship with patients. After spending time at the office of his family dentist, Ryan knew he had found his calling.
Four years in the Heartland followed as he attended Indiana University dental school, graduating with distinction among the top 4 percent of his graduating class, receiving particular honors for his work in prosthetics. Having been awarded a US Navy …Scholarship, Ryan and his wife, Kristina (also a UVM alum) moved to Washington DC, where Ryan completed a one year general practice residency at the National Naval Medical Center in Bethesda, MD. Then, after two years aboard the USS Trenton out of Norfolk, VA as head of the ship's dental clinic, Ryan brought his now growing family back to Vermont to settle. He now lives in Burlington with his wife and their three children Sabrina, Liam and Lilian.
