Dr. Ryan Henry Heise, MD

My father, who is in his 90s, was admitted to Presbyterian Dallas with trouble breathing. Dr Heise quickly found that this was a blood clot and treated my dad with blood thinners. He almost immediately improved and was out of the hospital in a few days and was able to come home with me. The care we received from Dr Heise and the nurses was fantastic. I would recommend Dr Heise and Presbyterian Hospital to anyone.

I had severe knee pain and came to Presbyterian Hospital. Dr Heise correctly diagnosed my pain as an infection in my replaced knee. He arranged for surgery, antibiotics, and pain control. I saw him for a long period of time in the hospital and then at rehab. He was very caring and helpful through it all. I was very happy with his care.

He misdiagnosed my postherpatic pain, which was excruciating as “all in my head and I should learn how to deep breathe.” He sent me to the psychiatric floor at Presbyterian Hospital from the ER. Also when I was actually in the pain he tried to send me home. A neurologist diagnosed my pain correctly 2 days after I saw him. Rude, unprofessional and a very poor diagnostician.

I have heart failure and kidney problems. Dr Heise treated me at Presbyterian in Dallas. I was very sick and he did a good job. He was also very kind.

Dr Heise did a good job. Very polite and professional. I got better quickly.

Dr Heise took care of my adult son who has a number of developmental delays and heart problems. He was a patient at Walnut Hill Medical Center in December. Dr Heise took the time to hear our concerns and suggestions. It is never enjoyable to be in the hospital with a sick family member, but our experience this time was good.

Very rude

I have seen Dr Heise twice at Walnut Hill Hospital in Dallas. I have a lot of problems, mostly related to cirrhosis of my liver. Both times I was very sick. He gave me great care and was very nice to me when I was there. There have been several times at different hospitals that the doctors have not been as good. Thanks!

Dr Heise saw me at Walnut Hill Hospital and I was very sick. I have kidney and heart problems and came in with a severe pneumonia. He took care of me for two weeks and I feel much better. He did a great job and did not rush me out before I was better. He was very kind and I enjoyed seeing him each day. Would recommend him to anyone!

I came into the hospital earlier this month with trouble breathing. I have heart failure and emphysema. Dr Heise saw me in the ICU. He gave me quick treatment and I was better by that evening. I was able to go home 5 days later. He was very kind and clearly very competent. I appreciate his care very much.
