Dr. Ryan D. Jacobson, MD

Similar to other reviews in meeting with him almost one year ago this physician is terrible! He did not even ask anything about my medications and his notes are very sloppy. He must have been having a particular bad day because he had an odor as if he had not showered in quite some time. Never said when to come back but thankful that I will not be returning. He offered no plan of anything. I wonder if he had a substance issue because when I obtained my medical record for the visit, it is full of misspellings and inaccurate information of what even was attempted to be discussed.

The title says it all. The bad reviews are spot on.

Looking through reviews and meeting and giving him SEVERAL chances, he is a man hating *** who purposely favors women only. From the first moment, he NEVER listens, asks questions, or give you a second look...what's the point of paying parking, spending hours to get to the appointment and seeing him, and wasting time for someone who depends on time and REALLY needs the help.

Very odd doctor, had very strange personality. Did not explain anything about anything. Didn't even ask about my medications. My medical record is messed up from my one visit with him, with many inaccuracies. It is not even known where he got the mis-information that he documented. Many misspellings and sloppy. Then in reaching out to him about amending the record, he then messes up the amendment with more inaccurate information. The record dept. is having to straighten it out now. As I am told, he no longer is employed at the facility. Maybe he was having issues.

After being diagnosed in Israel with MS and again in Kankakee, Illinois, and enumerating symptoms I suffer from daily that prevent me from functioning as I used to, this doctor told me my MS was "quiescent." No, it's not. I'm not functioning normally due to my MS and my illness in not "quiescent." I told him and his hipster assistant resident that I'd had my symptoms for decades before finally being diagnosed, what my symptoms were, what bothered me the most, etc. He sent me to have an MRI test and the report was surprisingly brief, and seemed unprofessional when compared to my other two MRIs from different hospitals (and countries). So today his hipster assistant resident tells me that my demyelination might be due to "aging." So it's all normal and simply due to "aging," when I started suffering from all my MS symptoms in my mid twenties. This doctor is a joke, and very arrogant, and doesn't listen, and is one of the worst doctors I've seen and I've seen plenty of idiots in… the field.
