Dr. Jander believes in a team approach to patient care. This team includes the physician, his staff, and, most importantly, the patient. This collaborative team approach, Dr. Jander feels, is the best way to achieve the patient's goals. Factors to consider include restoring function, pain relief, improving quality of life, and returning to sports activities. Most orthopaedic injuries when correctly diagnosed can be treated without surgical intervention. When certain conditions necessitate surgery, Dr. Jander has both the experience and specialty training that translate into excellent patient outcomes. Realizing that surgery can be a worrisome experience, Dr. Jander takes the time to answer all of his patients' questions. Thoroughly explaining the process, the expectations, and the time for recovery is the best way, Dr. Jander believes, to make his patients feel comfortable.
